LOOS LAMPS
Adolf Loos designed a light for the men's fashion store Knize in Vienna in 1930 which today serves as the inspiration for new designs from LABVERT.
The dodecahedron is interpreted based on a contemporary understanding of shape and today's technology to form a chandelier or light object.
The basic shape is implemented in various materials and light media and manufactured in limited series. The project Loos Lamps is a dialogue between the generations. Sculptural quality and new technologies are seen as a continuation of a Viennese design tradition in a contemporary context.
The lights are of the highest manufacturing quality and are also available in custom materials and colors upon request.
WEAVER No.3
Six bands, three of glass and three of steel, are connected together to form a hanging lamp in the shape of a dodecahedron. The bands are woven together and hung on a tripod where they remain in place without any additional connections. The light source is inserted into a commercial socket, allowing different light bulbs to be used. The lamps are available in a variety of different metal finishes and glass types. The gloss level of the metal surfaces and the use of clear, frosted or colored glass provide a wide variety of possible looks.
The lamps have a diameter of 35 cm. Lamps with a diameter of up to 60 cm are also available upon request.
The superposition of the materials and the reflections and refractions of the light make the Loos Lamp No.3 Weaver a unique light object.

LOOS LAMPS
Adolf Loos´Entwurf einer Leuchte für das Herrenmodegeschäft Knize in Wien von 1930 dient als Inspiration für die neuen Lampenentwürfe von LABVERT.
Die Form des Dodekaeders wird durch zeitgemäßes Formverständnis und heutiger Technologie interpretiert und dient als Luster oder Lichtobjekt. Die Grundform wird in verschiedenen Materialien und Lichtmedien umgesetzt und in Kleinserien hergestellt. Das Projekt LOOS LAMPS ist der Dialog der Generationen: skulpturale Qualität und neue Technologien werden als Fortführung einer Wiener Designtradition in zeitgemäßem Kontext gesehen. Die Leuchten werden in Manufakturen qualitativ hochwertig gefertigt und können auf Wunsch in Materialien und Farben maßgefertigt geliefert werden.
WEAVER Nr.3
Sechs zusammenhängende Bänder, drei aus Glas, drei aus Stahl, vereinigen sich zu einer Hängeleuchte in Dodekaederform. Die Bänder werden ineinandergeschoben, hängen an einem Dreifuß und halten ohne weitere Verbindungen. Die Lichtquelle sitzt in einer handelsüblichen Fassung, wodurch unterschiedliche Leuchtmittel, einsetzbar sind. Die Leuchte kann in unterschiedlichen Metalloberflächen und Glasvarianten hergestellt werden. Der Glanzgrad der Metalloberflächen, sowie die Verwendung von klaren, satinierten oder bunten Gläsern, lassen unterschiedlichste Variationen der Erscheinung zu. Der Durchmesser beträgt 35 cm. Nach Bedarf können die Leuchten auch in Größen mit bis zu 60cm Durchmesser gefertigt werden.
Die Überlagerungen der Materialien, die Spiegelungen und Lichtbrechungen machen die Loos Lamp Nr.3 Weaver zum einzigartigen Lichtobjekt.
