The Tabor Castle acquired its present appearance in the 17th century under the ownership of the powerful Hungarian noble family, the Batthyánys. Today, it serves as an opera venue during the summer months, hosting performances in its historic setting.
Labvert was asked to come up with a design concept for the tavern. During the day, the tavern needs to function as a café, which transforms into a bar in the evening, offering a versatile and welcoming atmosphere. Its vaulted ceiling is enhanced by artistic murals and gleaming polished brass details, which lend the historic space an elegant ambiance.
