A tennis trophy turns into a sophisticated object of art when Labvert creates a fresh new look for the annual Boris tournament. Hosted by one of the most picturesque tennis clubs in Vienna, SV Schwarz-Blau, this year’s tournament awarded its winners modern and minimalistic — perhaps even eccentric — trophies combining basic geometrical shapes with unusual high-quality materials. Picking up the traditional color palette associated with the sport, such as the orange of the clay court, beautiful hand-crafted glass spheres are mounted on sleek Corian pedestals in black and grey resting on individually shaped brass bases. In addition, Labvert created a new visual identity for the tournament with a playfully deconstructed tennis court used for t-shirts as well as for a hip selfie wall object.
